Kitty Flanagan wasn’t on the telly in the eligibility period. So she won’t be nominated.

Kitty appeared on Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee on 24 December 2025 and appeared on 7 episodes of Have You Been Paying Attention? In 2025.
Being a guest isn’t enough to warrant her a Gold Logie Nomination. As great as she is.
I did a quick search and couldn’t find the original 2026 Logies thread.
What’s the eligibility period?
1 April 2025 - 31 March 2026.
I wish it returned to a calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31).

Interested to see also how TV Week nominating potential nominees for Hall of Fame and Gold impacts things.
People have never voted for the Hall of Fame. The winner has always been selected by TV Week.
It’s very unlikely that we will see who the networks put forward for each award, particularly the Gold Logie. Which is a shame.
Re the Gold Logie, I can see Seven push for someone who has been on air “for a long time”, and push that agenda (like they did for Sonia Kruger, Larry Emdur and Lynne McGranger in recent years). Perhaps it will be Nat Barr or Johanna Griggs?
I can see Todd Woodbridge being nominated for the Gold too. Will Nine ever push David Campbell for a nom for Presenter Award for Today Extra?
I can see 10 push for Rebecca Gibney be up for Most Popular Presenter for Millionaire Hot Set. All for that almighty promotional push.

I think the Gold Logie needs to go to someone for another network this year.
These campaign dilute the significance of the award. Used to be somewhat a reflection of the most popular person on television. Now it is a reflection of the success of a marketing campaign.

Recently it’s been selected by a panel based on nominees submitted by networks. This year tv week will also be submitting their own nominees for consideration by the panel
Sam Pang out as Logies host according to David Knox.
Would 7 be willing to have Kitty F and Anne E host together?
If they’re wanting 7 talent perhaps they’d look to have Glen R and Mick M host to cross promote Celebrity Intervention?
Larry Emdur could also be a fun seven pick for host.
