What some of us have been talking about. The flawed judging process, and who missed out of a nomination…
A few points from the article:
William McInnes’ name was submitted for Supporting Actor. But not nominated.
No acting nominations from Plum, How To Make Gravy, Fake.
No Sam Pang nominated, despite actually having a bust year.
All the nominees for Popular News/Current Affairs Presenter are all Sydney based.
What’s the difference between Drama Series and Miniseries categories? Territory, Plum, Return to Paradise, Human Error, Critical Incident, Apple Cider Vinegar all clock in at 6 episodes but under various categories.
While Stan’s Though Shalt Not Steal and the Invisible Boys glaring omissions from the drama categories.
For the fourth consecutive year, ARN will team up with the Seven Network as the exclusive FM radio partner for the 2025 TV Week Logie Awards.
Integration will roll out across the KIIS Network in the lead-up to, and during, TV’s night of nights, and will include ticket giveaways across The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Will & Woody, Robin & Kip with Corey Oates, Hayley & Max in the Morning and Weekends with Chris Page & Amy Gerard.
A soon-to-be-announced national promotion on Will & Woody will also give one lucky listener unprecedented access to the event.
Three of this year’s Gold Logie nominees - Sonia Kruger, Lynne McGranger and Ally Langdon - will feature on Stellar liftout inside News Corp papers this Sunday.
An ad was just shown during the 6pm Sydney News (at approx 6.30pm) about Sam Pang preparing to host the Logies, and he was talking to Ray Martin. Was a brief ad.
They couldn’t find Gold Logie winners on the banners that weren’t from Seven? Very typical.
They had close ups of George Parker from All Saints, Kate Ritchie from Home and Away, John Wood from Blue Heelers, Rebecca Gibney from Packed to the Rafters, and Larry Emdur from The Chase/Morning Show.
I can’t wait for them to show other Gold Logie nominees from other networks in their promos…
