Kitty Flanagan also extremely popular. If up to the public I’m certain she would be nominated for Gold
I’d love to see her host the ceremony

Realistically thought very unlikely that Channel 7 would allow a non Channel 7 star to host
10 and ABC should both consider ways to further utilise her star power and comedic talents
Kitty had proved to be very popular in recent years - with several Logies to her name, and to Fisk too, particularly a few days ago. She should be given more bigger profile at the ABC - and 10 too (outside of HYBPA and Sam Pang Tonight).
Not sure if there is a season 4 of Fisk, but if not, then I hope we see a bigger presence of Kitty at next years Logies. Present several awards? Or host it?
Anne and Kitty were probably being auditioned for next year
I wish but not sure if 7 would allow it
I can see 7 positioning them the same way Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were when they hosted the Emmy’s
Kitty and Tom were both great on the original 7pm Project circa 15 years ago before three of them went to the ABC and of course they’re all good mates including Charlie
Nine news boss under fire after ‘drunk’ Logies ‘sext’ scandal
Diary can reveal Nine staff were left stunned by a number of questionable remarks A Current Affair’s executive producer Amy McCarthy made on social media while letting her hair down at the television industry’s annual backslapping celebration last week.
Screenshots of a number of McCarthy’s posts have been widely circulating through the network’s Sydney newsroom in the wake of the knees-up, with many questioning the appropriateness of her off-colour comments.
In one post that landed in Diary’s inbox, McCarthy warned her followers she had just arrived at the TV Week Logie Awards at the harbour city’s Star casino and that she was ready to party.
“I can get drunk now. You thought you’d been spammed before!! Standby!” McCarthy said.
The experienced EP, who has been at the helm of Nine’s most-watched nightly news show since last June, later replied to her own post, saying: “Luckily my phone died before any evidence could be recorded.” Unluckily, it was not before she decided it was a good idea to upload a picture of Cold Chisel rocker Jimmy Barnes performing onstage, alongside a note declaring the 69-year-old rocker “deserves a spot on the grid! #wouldstilldohim”.
What a fucking stupid article of rubbish
What a beat up of a story.
In other news, Gold Logie winner Lynne is on the front cover of this weeks TV Week. A good cover too.
The media diary section of the Australian has just turned into a gossip column for all of news corps enemies. They never criticize Sky News but everyone else is just a target for a hatchet job. Luckily there would be very low readership of this nonsense.
Imagine if Sky News was a haven for drunken idiots. Like Fox Sports is.
Are they sure that wasn’t Karl saying it? ![]()
If you’ve seen Paul Murray and Rowan Dean in full action you’d probably be forgiven for thinking that it already was.
The Australian reports today that McCarthy has taken personal leave, after discussions with Nine’s executives.
I find it so weird. A person cant make drunk jokes on their own social media account that only people she knows would follow? Cause I’ve never heard of her before. Seems like a witch hunt.
Before talk on the last Logies dries up completely, this was on TvTonight’s email Newsletter:
I hope things change for the better in 2026. Fingers crossed.
