This reminded me of their dance routine. I thought that was bad, but then I saw the subtitles.

I don’t know if it’s just because people I follow are involved this year, or since there’s been a break or what it is but there seems to be a bit of a good buzz about the Logies show tonight.

Haven’t heard anyone mention the Logies at all, don’t watch 9 or much other broadcast content for that matter so haven’t seen any promotions at all. Might watch a bit later, but it’s really not must watch tv anymore is it?
I daresay more Australian saw an episode of Stranger Things on Netflix last week than saw five minutes of free to air television.

Is that actually true? Id like to see what the actual viewer numbers are for these streaming shows. They may get all the buzz, but i feel like FTA viewership is still higher (albeit splintered across many channels now) than any show on a streaming service.

Hopefully Tom Gleeson does the opening monologue. His bit explaining the concept of the test pattern to the Home and Away starlets two years ago was hilarious.

Surely shows like Stranger Things, Yellowstone etc get more streams than those FTA shows that rate in the 10,000’s such as shows on the digital channels.
You know it’s going to be a long night when the main Logie story on the HS website is about how Abbie Chatfield forgot her undies…
A lot of people who appear or have appeared on Australian TV have become really prominent social media influencers. So if the logies can leverage the popularity of these people, then they can still manage to stay relevant among younger people in particular.
I’m not saying they don’t. But he is saying one show on Netflix has more viewers than the entire FTA viewership.
I’m just wondering what they rate. The majority of people i know don’t have Netflix and of those that do, i don’t know of those that do who watch Stranger Things.

Obviously the red carpet is pre recorded. Is the main concert going to be live or on delay?
At least they’re not just showing us Channel Nine stars, and are mixing up guests from across the various channels.
