Gleeson was doing his version of a Ricky Gervais opener. Very good should get him to host next time. Him and Tony Martin give the show some comedy which is sorely needed

Ughhh the musical performances are not needed. They waste time and pad out the show. Stick to the awards and bagging Australian tv so we can have a laugh.

I’m fairly sure Deborah Mailman won that Logie for her performance in Mystery Road given next to nobody watched Bite Club. Surely Nine can’t claim that win in their Logies tally.
