Exactly. I like to show off some footage, and it gives me time to answer any questions/say goodbye in the live chat on YouTube. No one’s making you sit through it.

Oh, and I did pay for the theme music - so why not show it off?

You could use the time more effectively by showing content. So you can still have the closure theme playing but only for no more than 30 seconds.

@Leo_Puglisi6 Where did you source your footage of Scott Morrison’s elevator escape from?

I had it sent to me. I won’t name names, but it is the full vision.

A comment on the latest 6 News report, @Leo_Puglisi6 . “fears of potential violence”? Where did this come from? It appears to have been a well organised peaceful protest march.

From The Age’s report:

Police were forced to break up a scuffle between protesters and a man in a shirt bearing the name of a far-right political group early in the afternoon.

He arrived at the protest wearing a black Proud Boys T-shirt, draped in an Australian flag emblazoned with “Come on Aussies”.

The man blew up an Australian-themed beach ball and stood for several minutes until a protester approached and kicked the ball out of his hand, sparking a face-off until police stepped in to escort him away.

@Leo_Puglisi6 Hey Leo just watched the headlines from last night, great show. Tiny bit of feedback would be try avoid presenting infront of a TV with another network playing on it maybe get a USB that has a backdrop loop on it to play in the TV or a still of your logo or something

Thanks for watching mate! Yeh totally agree - the TV in that room is very old & only has FTA, so was really my only option - we have 2 Smart TVs but the rooms they were in were occupied at the time

No HDMI input you could plug a laptop or chromecast into to get the backdrop in?

Laptop was being used at the time - and I only had 2 minutes to set up the entire thing.

Good job on the update. You cant seem to see much on the TV screen where it’s positioned and having ABC on is fine shows your monitoring news sources. The only feedback I have is if you could turn down the volume on the opening music it’s a little loud compared to other videos you might be watching previously. But good work.

@Leo_Puglisi6 Is there any chance that you could have credited the ABC as the source of the Crown story?

Hey @littlegezzybear - you’re honestly right. Was rushing through the story, but should have mentioned the ABC. Something to work on for next time

No, best hope for change would be attracting those currently in parliament as Liberals or centre right minor parties and independents and work from there. There are still classical liberals in the Liberal Party but they are drowned out by the noisy religious right. Balance of power in the Senate would be a worthwhile ambition. The Democrats lost their way with their obsession with winning a lower house seat, it may also be the u doing of the Greens.

I suspect you’re too young (no offemce) to know that the current iteration of the Liberal Party (Victoria, NSW. Tas, SA and WA) has changed greatly since its inception only 70 odd years ago. Sure, Menzies was a conservative, but what we see as conservative in the 21st C has also changed and moved further to the right.

For change the current Liberal National coalition needs to lose an election, that’s not going to happen with Albo “fighting the Tories”. From opposition, The the Queensland LNP should demerge, they can remain in coalition and the Liberals need to present a united party with a clear disconnect to neo conservatism, Trumpism and reactionary politics.

And please, put less faith in Twitter and find another endorphin enhancer. You’re only getting the extremes of political thought and views there.

Has he pulled back somewhat from his ambitions? When Charlie Caruso interviewed him last year he stated he would win about 20 seats at the next election.

He also thought when @Leo_Puglisi6 interviewed him the election was likely this year. I have a hunch the last few days have knocked that on the head.
