@JeepersCreepers agree would be great if Denise was inducted into the Hall Of Fame, she is long overdue for this recognition.
I’ve read rumours today that Kerri Anne Kennerley might be inducted into the Hall Of Fame this year, another deserving recipient who has also had a long career in the industry.
Kerri-Anne would be fine, but Denise has been around since the 50’s!
True but as much as I’d love Denise to get it she does have 2 Gold Logies already
Even more reason to induct her!
surely both Kerri-Anne and Denise are worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Fame? Both should receive the award in the near future.
Kerri-Anne deserves one, mainly for her role as being the “queen for daytime tv”. From hosting GMA, to Midday and then Mornings with Kerri-Anne. Plus the short stint at What’s Cooking. That’s a good 25 years at the helm. And surprisingly, has never personally won a logie.
Denise on the other hand is the queen of variety. Spanning 5 decades. And has won 2 Gold Logies. Worthy participant of the hall of fame too.
Don’t forget her role on The Restless Years.
I would be happy for either to get inducted into the Hall of Fame. Based on longevity, it would be Denise, hands down. But Kerri-Anne been quite a consistent performer over 30+ years. Plus there is the emotional side to her story with her husband’s injury which could sway the decision makers.
Kerrie-Anne’s husband John will be in attendance.
Which is probably all the more reason that she could be inducted this year.
While I think I’d prefer Denise to be inducted first, based on her time in the industry, I wouldn’t mind if Kerri-Anne went first as long as Denise is inducted soon after.
Other women that were mentioned in this discussion last year also very deserving.
Noeline Brown, Nancy Hayes, Sue Masters, Robyn Nevin, Lorraine Bayly and Jana Wendt.
News corp are saying that KAK for the Hall of Fame is a virtual certainty.
Herald Sun reports the Victorian Government is in preliminary talks with Bauer Media and Nine to keep the Logies in Melbourne for next year, which will be the 60th awards.
Dave Hughes to skewer Tim Worner, Karl Stefanovic and Amber Sherlock.

Let’s hope they are unsuccessful. The presentation/ceremony needs a revamp. A new venue would be a (small) start.
Very worthy receptient
This and the tribute to those whom have passed in the last 12 months are the only 2 real parts of the event I have any real interest in these days
“hosting”?
I tune-in for one reason and one reason only…
Hughesy’s monologue
Of which, he roasted his own failed Ch 9 show last year.
I say Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth (who get nothing)
There’s another Crown in WA
As well as a new venue, I think a new broadcasting network for the Logies would also be welcomed! Nine has had them for 22 consecutive years, so the time to give someone else a go is well overdue.
If the Logies were to be held in Queensland, somehow I think the Gold Coast would probably be more likely to host the event than Brisbane.
And unfortunately, I’d have to say that the chances of Adelaide and especially Perth (due to their two hour time difference) hosting the Logies are probably very slim to none.
Either the Brisbane or Gold Coast Convention Centre would be suitable (just not a casino!). Brisbane would be better for air travel especially for getting back to work on Monday.
