Gary Stewart was doing his show and they were still running Graeme’s promos, then suddenly they disappeared. Like most things 2SM, who knows.

When Gary first took over, he said Graeme was on long service leave for about 3-4 months, then they just stopped mentioning him all together. Almost like how they phased out Grant Goldman.

For some bizarre reason, 2SM came up on my Facebook feed, and turns out the OB from Sydney Olympic Park was at the Aquatic Centre.

I got the feeling that no one was there for Chris, any time Hadley did an O.B there was a lot of audience interaction but from what I heard of it he may well have stayed in pyrmont.

Tbh I think they need all the help they can get (as long as whoever they are hiring can actually make positive decisions).
There’s only been a bit of window dressing, a new breakfast show here and there, not nearly as much change as people were expecting by now.
They’re better off selling the whole shebang.
Would a commercial ethnic format work in Sydney?
Most of those foreign stations above 1600 run advertisements already, and I’m not sure (despite immigration) there’s a large enough audience base to add another split for ethnic money without sending those bankrupt, especally given a large part of said audience have migrated to streaming stations or music from home.

Yes, I know there are your 2MEs and 2MMs and 2moro going but not for languages like Chinese or Indian languages. Even Tagalog. Especially for western Sydney.
