Tim Webster is in his mid 60s now and may like to “smell the roses for a while” but 2SM need a local breakfast announcer and I think he would be great if he feels up to it and the daily drive from Wahroonga to Darling Harbour or perhaps join his great mate Trevor Sinclair on 2UE mornings.
The Last Hour of Broadcasting begins now on http://www.2CH.com.AU
I really wanted to listen on DAB but the audio is a mess. The snob mob would not be happy if the audio was choppy
The Last 5 mins is now
Thank you for the music Abba. Well done @TheGreatOne2
Disgusting quality broadcasting for sound quality … thanks again SEN you CLOWNS
What is SENCoast ? Dead to me …
Goodbye 2CH, Thank You for the Musoc over the last 90 Years.
Sounds like SEN Track… I was expecting SEN Fanatic. It seems to be only the right channel working. Still choopy but it might be reception now as it is EEP 3-B
Craig wont get many listeners listening to SEN Coast by the looks of things
I have recorded it. I will get it edited and uploaded over the weekend.
Oh great…more thrilling radio from SEN. Y … A … W … N
Yes just relay SEN Track on 801 AM.
Funny … some posters on here claimed that SEN was providing “diversity” by mowing down our heritage stations. Not funny actually … Tragic.
Thanks for the music 2CH. Thanks for nothing SEN.
SENTragic
It looks like 2ch live stream has been shut down now as well
“Unsuccessful DAB+ trial” is just strange framing.
They didn’t try. They didn’t tell listeners how to move to DAB to keep listening, they just switched flipped the switch to shut down 2CH on AM and tried not to tell listeners because they thought it would maximise the SEN audience.
I don’t know what’s more sad. The closure of 2CH or its demise?
Since the SEN takeover we have seen less announcers, more programming from other markets, and their Facebook page hasn’t been updated since last month, with no news on their Facebook page regarding its closure.
For such a significant radio brand to go so quickly is simply tragic.
Let’s hope we see 2CH1170 be revived in the future.
