Disney+ Australia will also be streaming the debate tomorrow from 11am-1pm.
Just saw that in the app before.
Surprised other streamers haven’t promoted the same. P+ could do the same with CBS News etc.
lol at the M rating.
Though wouldn’t put it pass Trump to start swearing.
What’s with the whole Harris someone dying photo.

Sumi Somaskanda will be on the ground at the debate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, along with the BBC’s North America correspondents including Senior North America correspondent Gary O’Donoghue and BBC North America journalist Nada Tawfik. Sumi and the team will be giving a full analysis and read out from the heart of the action.
Caitríona Perry will be anchoring the studio coverage from Washington DC before and after the debate – bringing live reports, analysis and reactions from a range of expert guests.
Paramount+ Australia will also show the debate from 10am.
For those wondering that the rules are:
- The debate will go for 90 minutes, with two commercial breaks.
- Candidates will have two minutes to answer each question, with a two-minute rebuttal, and an extra minute for a follow-up, clarification or response.
- There will be no audience. (But, unlike the CNN debate, some reporters will be allowed in the room.)
- No props are allowed.
- No pre-written notes are allowed, but candidates will be given a pen and paper.
- Microphones will be muted except for when candidates are asked to speak.
- There will be no opening statements. The candidates will be asked to give two-minute closing statements.
John Barron now doing the pre-debate analysis with Gemma Veness on the ABC News Channel.
ABC have sent Casey Briggs to a debate watch party in Miami.
ABC has turned of it’s YouTube stream during the debate.
ABC now crashing into the debate intro following some technical issues before - have the debate in a weird aspect ratio - cutting off the top of David Muir’s head.
Meanwhile ABC TV is showing a Q+A repeat from Monday night. Pushing the News channel I guess.
They did the same with the first presidential debate - no point interrupting the main channel when most who would be interested would already be watching the news channel.
Also no point outside of AEST where it would be delayed, and they would have to add various programs in different markets to get the schedule back in synch if it was live in those markets.
Ah true, the timezone complexity makes sense.
Don’t they always have a live CBS News stream?
Hong Kong: The news channels are not taking the debate - only TVB Pearl, Now News Live Channel and Phoenix HK Channel are covering it. Pearl have their own insert graphic for the intro, and Phoenix has Cantonese instantaneous translation from the station’s news anchors.
The BBC
Other US Networks. Interestingly, MSNBC’s livestream didn’t use the NBC News insert. CNN’s Youtube stream seems to be stuck at the moment.
