Found it strange how ABC was the first one to wrap-up their coverage. For context, the other networks went until 10:30pm SA time/11pm AEDT.
Obviously the one who can call it first gets gloating rights. But, I think there’s also benefit (especially for Antony Green whose call is highly anticipated ) in waiting. I wonder, if the networks have considered pushing back the predictions? Not only would it increase accuracy, but it would surely sustain viewers for longer.
ABC looked great, ended early.
9 looked great but the anchors and reporters were the weak link. Their gimmick was some lazer chamber.
7 had great people but looked very cheap and stale.

I feel like either the end of 7 News, or the start of the election was pre-recorded. It was a very tight turn around otherwise.

Watching the end of the bulletin from last night, there was a pretty obvious cut from the weather cross back into the studio for the outro, so I would suspect that was pre-recorded to allow for the changeover.
