ABC main channel coverage of Trump’s address abruptly cut off and has gone to ABC promos. ABC News coverage continues.

I don’t see the problem when the quote in the strap is attributed to Trump - either staring with Trump: or in quotations.

The straps give credibility to someone who is, for the most part, talking absolute shite.
ABC, NBC and CBS all have since dropped out of the conference.

Little bit problematic on 9 in QLD at the moment. After Trump’s press conference this morning we went back to today extra (I’m guessing everyone else got the Morning News?). Issue with that is that we are regularly seeing a ‘live’ shot of the briefing room at the White House teasing Trump’s upcoming press conference even though we got this live over an hour ago.
It’s a tough situation given the constantly evolving situation but I think it would have been a better choice to take the morning news live and insert a filler program before Ellen.
