2020 US Presidential Election - Media Coverage

Outstanding and comprehensive coverage from the ABC. Looks like they’re pulling out all stops.

Interesting that nbc is not simulcasting on msnbc and that the news network is producing its own coverage.

Rita Panahi arrived in the US at the weekend and spoke to 3AW’s Dee Dee Dunleavy from Pittsburgh on Wednesday afternoon, Melbourne time.

Sky News coverage reads like a cheerleader for trump. They’re mostly opinion pundits from the right. Not even pretending to be a credible news service in any way shape or form.

I will stick to the experts at CNN and MSNBC.

7, 9 and 10 as well as ABC and SBS are also doing coverage using resources from NBC (7), CNN (9), CBS (10), and ABC America (SBS)

What’s the point of the hour? Surely have local bulletin at 7, then a 7:30 special bulletin at 7:30 until PA at 9? Also, very old photo of the PA guys!

Looks like planet America will be in half hour delay in the main channel with it running live on the news channel from 9pm aedt.

That Rita person would hardly be a credible commentator to be providing any insightful analysis on the US election. She’s a very hate filled woman. Not sure why she is featured on a news channel.

If it’s clear during Wednesday that Trump has lost, Sky’s (and indeed Fox News’) coverage will be worth watching for the ‘entertainment’ value. Same will be true with MSNBC if one heck of an upset occurs (as the polls currently stand) and Biden loses

That would be tricky though since the News Channel airs live across the country, people outside NSW/VIC/TAS would only be able to watch the first half hour of an extended 7:30 on TV rather than the full 90 minutes

7 and 9 according to the press release are both using CNN coverage. I thought 7 would access MSNBC and NBC with given CNN is now with 9.

I thought 7’s tv promo said NBC and CNN.
