2020 US Presidential Election - Media Coverage

If I’m not mistaken, Nine ended their partnership with ABC America in mid-2018.

As for when SBS picked up the rights to air such content, I’m not sure. World News Tonight & This Week started airing as part of WorldWatch in July last year, however ABC US reports have been airing during SBS World News long before then IIRC.

Let’s hope that Karl leave at home his Make America Great Again hat for this coverage, or he will piss off all those extra Today viewers he has won back over they year.

Yes, Nine ended their ABC News deal at the end of June 2018. https://tvtonight.com.au/2018/06/gone-good-morning-america.html

I seem to recall reading that Nine uses CNN Newsource. https://www.cnnnewsource.com/

Nine will use CNN for their coverage. In 2016 they used ABC’s resources with 7 using CNN and NBC.

Studio 1A will be transformed into Election centre for Tuesday night’s (NY time) election coverage. It was used for Nightly News coverage of the Conventions earlier this year

It was announced on The Latest last night that Michael Usher & Angela Cox will be presenting Seven’s coverage

Good choices. An exceptional news anchor paired with an excellent former US Correspondent. Both are worthy competition against Overton and Croucher on Nine.

2016 was Mike Amor and Musher. Good to see 7 using two former US correspondents for their coverage. Usher used to work in the US when he was at Nine.
