2020 Queensland State Election - Media Coverage

I think the Top 20 events could be interesting. Maybe they’ll use it to count down one as they go to each break? Or early in the evening when there’s not much info on the vote count

Being in Melb thought I’d pop Sky News on to watch the Qld election coverage. First 10 minutes that big mug Paul Murray is on screen. Urgh.

This is going to be painful.

Last Federal election it was the “Bish Boot”

This year … “plugger”. As there no politicians available yet, they tested it out on the “only sure loser the NSW Origin Team”.

The “plugga”. :joy:

The plugga was fun

This just gets worse and worse every election. Although for QTQ it’s situation normal.

So sky have Alan and Paul as part of their coverage? What a disaster that is! No one wants to hear their biased analysis disguised as journalism.

Labor have had power in QLD for 26 out of 31 years. The last LNP government was that disaster led by Campbell Newman who ruined the state.

It’s odd given the terrible voting QLD do in the federal elections of late.

“Very early figures” - one seat had 20 but at least the standard graphics are seen.

I think 9 is confusing the qld and US elections. All those Stars and Stripes look very American.

It was the same for the Federal Election last year wasn’t it?
