I expect MKR to be massive (given the promos for tonight and judging on comparative nights previously), I’ll say 1.3m, therefore helping Seven to win with news and a classic movie.

BBL final will again be down (I think 900k session 2), disappointing, 1.5m a couple of years ago. Ten’s shares will be well up though, combined with I’m A Celebrity (900k also I reckon)

Nine will also do very well, but I don’t think they’ll win nor will Married be on top (probably 1m).

I think Seven News will win narrowly, thanks to Adelaide and especially Perth.

Seven’s movie will rate well, older audiences, 450k. Nine’s premiere should also do well, younger audiences and a little lower lead-in than Seven I think, 425k.

Monday the 5th of February 2018

Seven have been on a role, so I don’t seen that changing yet (but Good Doctor now one ep per week on Tuesdays)…

Thursday February 8
Anthony Mundine quitting I’m a Celebrity generated a lot of buzz online this morning, Ten will be hoping it will translate to good ratings for tonight’s episode. Ten should also be boosted by the return of Gogglebox. However Nine will win the night with Seven finishing third again without MKR.

Seven will dominate, spearheaded by the PeyongChang Opening Ceremony at 8:30pm, after new BHG.

It will be very close between Seven and Nine today and it will come down to multichannels. Nine (with its coverage of last international cricket match of summer) will easily beat Seven (Winter Olympics) in primary channels. Ten will again be decimated.

Winter Olympics day 1 afternoon 0.34m
Winter Olympics day 1 night (Seven/7mate) 0.65m

Agree with Johnson, massive day/night of sport, it’ll be close tonight.

Ch 7 will pick-up late night share in Syd and Melb & more share in Bris and especially Per where they are hour(s) behind, but telecast runs until 1am AEDT.

Cricket will win Melbourne, it’ll be neck-and-neck in Sydney.

Multi-channels might indeed be the deciding factor, as well as how good the cricket game is.

Sunday the 11th of February 2018

It’s another massive Sunday and it’ll be a close one between Seven and Nine.

I actually don’t think the telemovie on Nine will rate that big, given all recent ones, Molly the last one that was huge in February 2016 (2m+ metro consolidated).

With what I just said above, I think Seven’s combo of news + MKR + Olympics will push them over the line, plus all the promotion for MKR and Olympics during day, upsetting Nine’s big night (I acknowledge I could be very wrong).

Ten’s night will be impacted a bit.

Will be interesting to see @JohnsonTV, @Super_SC & others thoughts…
