HSV just went to one now
Yeah same in Brisbane. Cut away quite suddenly with very jarring music for Toyota, which kinda ruined the nice feeling from the anthem. There weren’t any ads during the ceremony itself, which was really nice though.
HSV went to the break durning a highlights package, nothing was missed 
.
BBC were showing stock drone footage of the beaches and stuff. nothing major

It’s also the first time the Indigenous flag and Torres Island flag are raised together with the Australian flag at a Commonwealth Games opening ceremony.

They seem to be running at the change of region.
They’re already on about the third loop of the same songs though. Couldn’t they learn a few more? And can anyone explain the relevance of Funky Town to me?
