2017 Ratings Predictions

Shouldn’t always assume “it’s a weekend, more people will be watching”.

S3 on weekdays always rates well (post-School / people arriving home from work).

Today across VIC for example, nearly everyone would be out and about at the beach, et. al.

Early in the second session (when I posted my above post) it was looking close and anyone’s game.

Obviously not now :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’ve been checking in daily to see if anyone is prepared to have a crack at the first 2 big nights of 2017.
Apparently not - so i’ll get the ball rolling . . .

Mon 30th Jan

I am going to make some very general predictions which will probably be all wrong but hey that is the fun of this.

Nine
Married at First sight will see the network see a good start to 2017 but it will be down on last years figures with the dragged out and extended season.
Dramas such as House Husbands and Habibs will all see decreases
The Voice will drop under the million mark
The Block will return to some large figures.

Ten
I’m a Celebrity will see similar figures to the previous season. Slightly down, perhaps.
24 Legacy will preform horribly. This is Us will do ok, for Ten’s standards but probably under 600k.
The Biggest Loser will be the biggest flop of the 2017.
Masterchef will see some declines because of the later start.
Survivor will see an increase due to positive feedback, logie nominations and other awards.
The Bachelor/ette will see a decrease.

Seven
MKR will finally see a decline this season. Debuting to its lowest figures ever.
House Rules will float above water without setting the world on fire.
Hells Kitchen will be the biggest new show of 2017.

Seven will still be the number 1 network in 2017.
