Monday the 13th of March 201

Seven to win overall, Ch 9 to win main channel & Ch 10 to have the top program…

How do others think TBL will do tonight? The ads have been good but I just can’t see it firing. The positive is MKR has shed viewers since it was last on at this time of the year. I am going to say 500k.

There has been lots of promotion & they’ve been good.

The show also has the advantage of having had a hiatus for a year & being completely refreshed (normal overweight Aussies + a new trainer).

It also started trending #1 on twitter from the very start of the program (even ahead of social media powerhouse Married).

It’s of course the premiere too.

I reckon ~700k tonight?

(No idea how MKR & Married will rate against it, the latter will still be 1m+).

Tuesday March 14
TBL should do well tonight.

My Kitchen Rules 1.1m
Million Dollar Cold Case series premiere 0.64m

Thursday March 16
Two things to look for tonight:

  1. Will Gogglebox’s ratings be affected by TBL’s low figures?
  2. NRL matches involving the Melbourne Storm generally don’t rate well in Sydney. Given the Storm will face a Queensland team tonight, will the Sydney audience be interested?

Thursday night NRL: Storm v Broncos 0.47m (Sydney and Brisbane) + 80,000 (9Gem Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth)
The Footy Show 0.54m

Home and Away 0.68m
When Magic Goes Horribly Wrong premiere 0.46m
Dynamo Live premiere 0.35m

The Biggest Loser: Transformed 0.46m
Gogglebox 0.63m
Law & Order: SVU rpt 0.33m

Friday the 18th of March 2017

Seven should get the win overall, thanks to BH&G + multi-channels, as well as a one-sided NRL game on Ch 9 with a Sydney team losing and smaller club winning…

AFLW: GWS v Western Bulldogs 0.14m (7mate)

ABC should have another very rare win (main channel), thanks to their dual popular shows. Seven should beat Nine…

Lots of movies (as always) across the free-to-air multi-channels…

No. 1 multi-channel: 9Go!

Sunday March 19
Nine should win the night easily with Married at First Sight (with the special coaches performance of The Voice, which goes for a few minutes, as the lead-in).

Married at First Sight 1.22m
60 Minutes 0.71m
Lethal Weapon 0.34m

The Biggest Loser: Transformed 0.45m
Bull 0.38m
NCIS: New Orleans 0.25m

Massive week for Seven, with the 2017 Toyota AFL Premiership Season kicking-off on Thursday.

Seven will dominate Wednesday-Saturday.

It’ll be close though tonight and tomorrow (coming down to multi-channels), main channels probably tied again, I’d expect Seven to win Tuesday with the 800 Words finale :disappointed_relieved:

Monday March 20
Nine should win easily given Seven is showing a repeat movie after MKR and Ten’s shocking state at the moment.

My Kitchen Rules 1.02m
Movie: Captain America: The Winter Soldier rpt 0.42m

Married at First Sight 1.17m
House Husbands 0.62m

The Biggest Loser: Transformed 0.32m
Movie: Red 2 rpt 0.25m

Does anyone want to predict how long it’ll be until The Biggest Loser: Transformed goes under the 300k mark? Unfortunately, I wouldn’t be too surprised if it happens as soon as this week.

800 Words finale: 800k

Tuesday March 21
I hope 800 Words finish its season on a high, but I doubt it.

My Kitchen Rules 1.03m
800 Words season finale 0.65m

Married at First Sight 1.2m
Travel Guides 0.68m

The Biggest Loser: Transformed 0.35m
NCIS 0.41m
NCIS: Los Angeles 0.29m

No thought-out predictions really needed until Sunday now.

Seven will cream the competition tonight through to Saturday.

I’d imagine most MediaSpy predictors agree?

We can still predict the audience figures for AFL matches can’t we?

Wednesday March 21
Seven will win but the margin won’t be as high as past few weeks as Nine is showing the AFL Footy Show.

My Kitchen Rules 1.1m
Million Dollar Cold Case 0.59m

Planet Earth II 0.68m
Murder Calls 0.24m (Sydney and Brisbane)
The AFL Footy Show 0.46m (Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth)

The Biggest Loser: Transformed 0.31m
This is Us 0.45m

I think The Footy Show will do a little better tonight, due to being a week where’s there’s actual AFL games. Ch 9 would want to see a solid increase, after the dire figures the past two weeks!

However with the MKR lead-in, I expect MDCC to win its slot in all markets (it did very well in Melbourne last week & tonight looks good).

Thus (along with multi-channels) a massive win to Seven, even if the margin is reduced a little from last week.

Of course, I’m not stopping you, I might still do the same.
