10 Pilot Week 2019

I’ve been calling for Catfish to be hosted by Casey Donovan for years, good to see it get a run and I’m sure it will turn into a full series! Roxy is another one I’ve been keeping an eye out, although it’d be best on 10 Peach.

Not too sure about Part Time Privates and Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians. Disappointed that My 80 Year Old Flatmate is an unscripted show, it actually sounds like a great concept for a sitcom.

The time to cash in on the popularity of the movie namesake is long, long gone now.

Outside of Sydney, nobody knows who this woman is. Someone in high places must be calling the shots in regards to trying to get Roxy front and centre on Australian TV (the same way Australian TV was stuck with the Madden brothers of Good Charlotte fame for years on end for no reason whatsoever).

Local versions of existing franchises without a major point of difference for the local variant (e.g. Drunk History Australia) shouldn’t be eligible for pilot week IMO.

The other two seem reasonable.

This looks interesting, sounds a little bit like Good Girls on Netflix but I’m glad 10 are trying more drama and they could really look to innovate and be on the front foot with this programming when it comes to the 3 commercial channels.

This piece also confirms Pilot Week is coming next month in September.

Catfish Australia has been axed from the line-up.

that sucks, I don’t think Casey Donovan was the right co-host for the show

You aren’t a fan of Casey Donovan are you?

Why not

Not surprised, the format has been old news for 5 years now.

I did notice it was missing from that sites programming wrap yesterday, which is a shame because that’s probably the only Pilot Week show I would have been interested in.

Given she was cat fished herself she probably was the perfect host.

Look no loss here … it’s a very niche show that would be suitable for 10 peach at best. Not really prime time programming.

I am not a fan of Casey Donovan.

Well perhaps your comment is a little biased then. For someone who was catfished and won two reality contests I would say she was the perfect choice of co-host. The fact she was apart of the talent wasn’t the reason the show went ahead.

Pilot Week 2019.

Landing Sunday, 8 September.

Boarding Passes At The Ready!

A reno show? Been there, done that. A drama about a town by the beach? Yep, seen it. If you’re looking for something new, bold, and different, then make your way to the gate because Pilot Week 2019 is landing Sunday, 8 September on 10 and WIN Network.

From undercover mothers to geriatric landlords, we’re bringing you a fresh line-up of pilots, and giving you a say in what will return for a full season. We’ll be looking at ratings and listening to the chatter to gauge which of the Pilots you want to see back on your screen.

Last year Trial By Kyle , Saturday Night Rove , Taboo and Kinnie Tonight were all green-lit for a season.

Will the lavishly ludicrous life of PR maven Roxy Jacenko in I Am…Roxy leave you wanting more? Are the larger than life antics, and bank accounts, of Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians what viewers want to see? Will My 80 Year Old Flatmate melt your heart? Or will you want to join Nicola Parry and Heidi Arena for a stakeout in Part Time Private Eyes ?

The choice is yours and you’ll be able to make it soon. So buckle up and get ready for something different.

I like how they have made fun of the fact many thought it had to do with planes and pilots.
