Totally dependent on it being a nice day outside though as most studios like this are, if it’s grey or overcast outside it wouldn’t look quite as good. Over summer would be nice though, shame they’re on a break now.

Wendy began her summer presenting period yesterday.
For the best part of 14 years, she was the face of New Zealand’s most watched programme. Three would be wise to lure her back.

Perhaps a long shot, but does anyone have the One News promo from the turn of the century or certainly 2000-02 which used The Byrds ‘Turn! Turn! Turn!’ as its soundtrack? It used to be on YouTube but it must have been taken down or pulled forward the music.
1News is very Professionally designed and presented by the current team, let’s hope it continues with Wendy. Just fully packed bulletin, no beat about.

Please is it just me or do I enjoy 1News at 6pm more with Wendy presenting it. Simon has the charm for 102 year olds, Wendy is fresh. She’s like tobacco, her news reading is addictive…

She is best presenter they have, hopefully things will get rejuvenated by the new boss. Newshour needs revamp, too pc, lost it’s neutrality in the few seasons, all of them.
