I haven’t watched a full day of free to air TV since the late 1980s when I was home in bed sick with glandular fever. I’d consider it cruel and unusual punishment to be restricted exclusively to free to air these days. Even if I was restricted to the house I would want to be doing other things besides watching TV all day.

If I’m home at various times throughout the day.

News Breakfast (70%) Today (20%) Sunrise (10%)
ABC Morning News (80%) TMS (20%)
Seven Morning News
ABC Midday News (usually left on in the background)
Seven Afternoon News
10 News First
7 News (60%) 9 News (40%)
The Project 7pm (80%) ABC News (20%)

I don’t really watch much TV throughout the evening anymore, usually Netflix or the ABC. I’m watching Today and Nine News more over the last couple of weeks though.

I used to watch so much more FTA TV. Nowadays, very little, due to time constraints and lack of interest. This would be my current non-sport schedule.

Sunday:
Beat The Chasers

Monday:
Have You Been Paying Attention

That’s about it. I used to watch Seven News Melbourne regularly, but not too much anymore. I also occasionally watch Spicks And Specks repeats on ABC Comedy.

This is what I usually watched on free-to-air TV in the past year if I thought to turn it on:

Nightly News 7 Tasmania (mainly for Murph’s weather and the sport)
Home And Away
The Front Bar
AFL (technically watched all the live FTA games on Fox Footy apart from the GF)
SAS Australia
Housos
Regular Old Bogan
Fat Pizza: Back In Business
A Glorious Life (Bill Lawry and Ian Chappell specials)

And that’s it, coming from a viewer who used to watch WIN (including their news) more often than the other channels over a decade ago.
