Go to the Philippines in October and you hear Christmas carols in most shopping centres. A lot of countries do start getting in the festive mood early.
I like in the UK and astounded at the lack of news on weekends. No morning news shows, 15 min updates in place of national news and even less local news. It’s pretty pathetic.

I have to agree. I was there in August and there is very little news on weekends.
It’s so odd that Ch4 and Ch5 only have 10 or 20 minutes bulletins randomly placed in the late afternoon.
Also, does ITV not have any weekend breakfast show? I can only see BBC Breakfast in the lineup, split over two channels which is odd.
