With one week to go in the survey, Nine has won a generally low rating week to take a 20 to 19 lead in weeks won. It means that the best result that Seven can hope for is a tie based on that measurement. Nine won the key demos and the east coast markets.

Helped by the World Cup final it was Nine’s best share since week 27. While ABC edged up, Seven and 10 each lost one point while SBS was down 1.5. SBS Viceland saw it lowest share of the year with coverage of the Pacific Games each night. The last time the channel had a share that low was January 2018.

Top entertainment shows were Travel Guides that did well to make the top 10 for Nine while The 1% Club was best for Seven. Australian Story just outrated ABC News to be best for its network with Dessert Masters making the top 20 for 10.

General entertainment offerings were fairly low with Question Everything at less than 400k making the top 30.
Love Island continued to dominate the BVOD rankings.

Some competitive m/c results, even the public networks, 10’s continue to be a shining light but for Nine bar 9Gem a weak result especially 9Go! which had improved this year (IIRC) but seems to have gone back to what it had been doing since COVID, not helped by lack of movies, Survivor and Love Island underperforming in total people on broadcast.
