Nine had an easy win in week 40 with its best share in 13 weeks including wins in key demographic groups and Sydney and Melbourne. Second-placed Seven won Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth but with the network’s lowest share in 13 weeks. ABC and 10 were slightly higher than the previous week, both with their best result since week 35 while SBS lost share.

Nine’s NRL Grand Final topped the week while The Block was the top reality franchise as well. The Grand Final of My Kitchen Rules also did well to make the top 20 while ABC News just made the top 20.
Just outside the top table was Have You Been Paying Attention? 21st and the launch of The Amazing Race in 22nd place.

In the VPM chart The Block again topped the rankings while The Amazing Race debuted in the top rankings.
