A big win for Seven that gained share on all the other networks up almost 5 points from the previous weeks at the start of the AFL finals. Seven won the key demos.

Up against NRL finals as well, Seven ended up winning the three AFL markets while Nine won Sydney and Brisbane.
Attention was back onto the main channels again with multis falling below the 30% mark.

The Block did well to make the top 5 while AFL made the top 10. In 12th place, The Voice was the next best entertainment entry, with Have You Been Paying Attention? 20th. ABC programs missed the top 20 though House of Fires was 2nd in the VPM table.

A reminder that the Foxtel live audeince numbers now include Kayo viewing. This sees Foxtel BVOD outperform FTA.

Will be interesting to see the Kayo numbers for the regular AFL season (next year) there have been AFL games this year which has gotten less than 600k national on 7, and if Kayo is regularly getting 250k+ then Fox could be very close to 7 in viewership numbers

I doubt the AFL regular season games are often getting 250K when there’s a channel 7 simulcast. Only 2 of the finals did. The Essendon Collingwood round 24 game (first week inc kayo) only got 206.

My guess is that these games are getting high 300s with total STV
