It was another big weekly win for Nine and with a very rare win in all markets and all key demos.

The top 10 was again dominated by news but Cricket topped 800k to rank 5th and Dancing With The Stars did well to rank 9th.

Missing from the top 10 included Utopia 14th, Gruen 19th and Have You Been Paying Attention 20th while Warnie was 21st.

The BVOD chart was similar to recent weeks with Utopia at the top while Warnie’s 2 episodes made the top 10.

Well done Channel Nine Perth, winning an offiical ratings week thanks to the Ashes Cricket.

First time this year that Nine has a clear weekly win in Perth.

7Flix’s line-up now dominated by repeats is dragging down Seven’s share - this week was the lowest share ever for the multi-channel.

When was the last week Nine won Perth?

Although, surprisingly (even last night against the might of that night’s competition) Sundays seem to be doing solid and holding, just a couple of .0% off 7mate and 7Two (which were both very low as was all other m/c - cricket affected?) with the L&O marathon.
Saturdays had been doing well recently too with the Dan Brown ‘Robert Langdon symbology’ adaptations, but Inferno didn’t do as well, possibly the cricket effect as well.

January 2016 I’m pretty sure, during non-ratings. This was during the Australian Open, which makes it even more remarkable. The BBL was doing quite well on Ten so that would’ve taken audiences away from Seven and Nine. Nine had a really good summer (their first summer win since 2006-07 I believe) because of the cricket, and the new multichannel 9Life, which caught on quite quickly.

Their last in-survey win would almost certainly have been during the 2012 London Olympics. I highly doubt Nine would’ve won a week when there was no big sporting events (like Cricket or the Olympics, State of Origin or the NRL Grand Final obviously wouldn’t affect Nine’s share drastically), regardless of whether Seven had AFL, because Seven News does incredibly well.

Had a look and Nine surprisingly didn’t win a week during last year’s Australian Open.

West Coast (the more popular of the two WA teams in Perth I believe) not doing well in the AFL might’ve lowered Seven’s AFL ratings, and affected their share.
