Nine recorded a massive 35.5% share and a 9 point win with a schedule heavy with sporting coverage. It was Nine’s best in-survey result since week 29 of 2013 that also featured a State of Origin Game and mid-year Ashes. Nine had a 35.6%that week.

Nine won key demos and three markets and tied with Seven in Melbourne and even Perth. The result included a record 8.7% share for 9Gem.

That saw Seven down by three, 10 by 1.5 and SBS by one while ABC was steady.

News and State of Origin filled most spots in the top 10 with Dancing With The Stars doing well to rank tenth.

Outside the top ten included The Ashes from Day 3 and Day 4 and Have You Been Paying Attention? while The Chase’s best week of the year ranked 16th.

Utopia, Love Island and Home and Away featured in the top 10 of BVOD rankings.

That’s a remarkable result for Nine Perth given Seven’s dominance in the city for so long.

I’m guessing Nine’s only bigger (either share or margin or both) weekly win would’ve been during the Aus Open, probably 2022 with Ash Barty and before that 2020?
