The State of Origin Match 1 was the most watched program in Australia in all key demos of People 25-54, 16-39, GS 18+ and Total People. Game 1 was the Highest Total TV result for the State of Origin in VOZ history, with a TTV reach of 5.45 million and a National Total TV Average Audience of 3.76 million.

The Floor Finale was the week’s highest rating entertainment program with People 25-54 & 16-39. To date, Monday’s final has a National Total TV Average Audience of 1.207 million

Travel Guides continues to draw in viewers, with the program ranking as the most watched entertainment program in Total People, with a National Total TV Average Audience of 1.298 million to date

9News Sunday was the No. 1 news program of the week across Australia with Total People, People 25-54 and GS 18+ recording a Total TV National Average Audience of 1.519 million.

A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia, with a National Total TV Average Audience of 1.054 million viewers per episode.

Tipping Point was Australia’s No. 1 afternoon game show, with a National Total TV Average Audience of 835,000 viewers per episode - 143,000 viewers ahead of its competitor.

The State of Origin juggernaut propelled Nine to an easy win in week 22. Nine was up +5 points to its biggest share since week 10. That saw Seven and ABC each down +2 and SBS down +1 points while 10 was steady, boosted by its best Saturday result.

Game One of the State of Origin is the year’s number one program so far by a huge margin with 3.755 million. That made it the the highest rating State of Origin match since 2016. The pre-match came in at number two program of the week.

Nine News was the preferred news service nationally for the first time since the Paris Olympics and before that it was more than 10 years since Seven News had lost a week nationally.

Seven’s top performers outside of news included The 1% Club at just under one million and Home and Away with 877k while both episodes of Farmer Wants A Wife were over 800k.

10’s best show was again Have You Been Paying Attention? while the top MasterChef episode ranked 37th. The Piano and Media Watch made the top 30 for ABC with Australian Story and Gruen just outside.

Tipping Point recorded its highest ever weekly rating of 835k to be 140k ahead of The Chase.
