Week 17 had a very different look without Married at First Sight plus the launch of new shows and new seasons across the week. Seven had a comprehensive victory in total people and key demo groups.
For the first time since week four, news was the number one program of the week with Seven News Sunday at the top of the rankings. News programming filled the next four places with Travel Guides the number one entertainment show ranking sixth.
The Floor launched to 979k and was 8th with Glenn & Mick’s Celebrity Intervention opening with 790k which was good enough for 15th. The return of MasterChef also saw 10 with three top 30 entries.
7News Spotlight did well with its return to outperform 60 Minutes that dropped to 23rd.
The final of The Piano was ABC’s top entertainment show in 28th place with Gardening Australia next best in 48th.
Also outside the top 30 were the launch of My Reno Rules in 33rd place, Gogglebox in 44th and The Cheap Seats 57th.
Home and Away did well to be the number one program in BVOD numbers.
