Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight was the No. 1 program of the week across Australia with all key demos and Total People. To date, it has a National Total TV Average Audience of 2.547 million.

9Now’s weekly share of the crucial 16-39 demographic is simply unmatched. With a share of 60% across FTA BVOD platforms, this was double its nearest commercial FTA rival.

Married At First Sight took out the Top 4 programs of the week with People 25-54, People 16-39, GS 18+ and Total People.

The 9Network claimed seven of the Top 10 programs of the week with People 25-54 and People 16-39, and six of the Top 10 programs in Total People and GS 18+: Married at First Sight, 9News Sunday,9News, 60 Minutes and Thursday Night NRL all driving the 9Network.

9News Sunday was the No. 1 news bulletin in Australia, with a National Total TV Average Audience of 1,382,100 million viewers, while 9News was the most-watched Mon-Friday bulletin with a National Total TV Average Audience of 1,321,400 million viewers.

Nine had another survey win but Seven closed the gap as AFL made a partial return to its schedule. Nine also won the key demos and 5-city metro market. Brisbane was Nine’s best market with a near 40% network share while Seven did best in Adelaide and won Perth and regionals.

In a big week of news the main news bulletins for each network hit 2025 highs. Likewise breakfast TV was also at record highs though outside the top 30.

Married At First Sight also hit season highs with Sunday over 2 million as the week’s number one show. Australian Idol was notable for topping one million for the first time since the launch episode.

10’s top entry was Gogglebox in 34th place with Survivor’s Monday episode ranked 40th and 13th in 25-54 where it was second to Married At First Sight.

ABC’s Monday line up of Australian Story, Four Corners and Media Watch all featured in the top 30,

The top sports entry was Thursday Night NRL while the Vegas Opener also made the top 30 average table.
Seven’s Friday Night AFL was 33rd.

Big achievement. Shows what happens with some investment.

All news audiences were up last week due to the cyclone, not because of any real additional investment as such.

They provided a few additional hours of coverage over the later half of the week, and are back to airing delayed news outside of the local bulletin :man_shrugging:t3:
