We have the same watermark on 7 regional.
This actually was from 7 Regional. I believe they run a dirty feed during programming now on the old Prime7 stations which is why it is consistent with metro.
Yes they do, they ran a clean feed with the Seven watermark for 2 months then switched to a dirty Seven feed. The Chase Australia however still uses a clean feed presumably to block out the metro items for the regions that recieve Seven News Regional.

They’ve used this watermark only during the Aus Open and possibly upcoming Olympics (unless a pres. change), possibly controlled in-program / from Nine’s control room at the Melb Park broadcast compound. Seven did the same when they had rights. As they’re constantly chopping-and-changing from live, to delayed, to replay, to highlights, to studio, to around the courts, to segments and colour pieces, to ads. Think viewers are just meant to assume it’s live (unless otherwise advised) and use EPG to identity channel and program details.
Also, the normal Wide World of Sports watermark is now on all the court Live Streams on 9Now (previously was a generic and poor quality opaque just the logo without any text pasted on).
And online videos (various Nine Ent websites) use another one, more like the old live stream pasted logo but with a larger wwow.com.au white text.
Then there’s Stan Sport’s feeds and all the global feeds, as well as TA.
