SBS has added a bug “FIFA World Cup | coming November 2022” to its watermark when returning from an ad break. This Sunday (November 21) marks one year to the opening match in Qatar.

Was Jan 2007 IIRC when Ten got the CBS News deal. The good thing out of that was we got him in widescreen high definition and played on a regular basis with Ten.

They normally use a “double decker” version for long titles. I think I have a cap of one somewhere…

7 Sport watermark in 2012. Went back to top right after a year in 4:3 resolution at the bottom

I recall it being odd that it was down the bottom right in 2012, along with the new AFL graphics package they used in some form up until 2020.

Also in 2013, the “7 sport” logo did go back to the top right as it was also the year that the analog switch off was complete and finally all 4:3 safe watermarks and sports graphics disappeared forever.
