They just get worse and worse with these promo banners.
I saw a European breakfast television show this week with a watermark in the top left corner for its reality show grand final that night. And every other corner of the screen had visual pollution. Yuck!

Unrelated, but is that Highway Patrol? I realise Foxtel have also aired it for years (and like 7mate always seems to rate on Fox 8 too), but would’ve thought they’d get ‘clean’ copies and from the distributor (CJZ / Greenstone)? But this seems to indicate Seven might sell it themselves as it’s still got their own presentation (split screen end credits, promotion and now outdated Yahoo7)?

I’ve just noticed that Nine doesn’t have a ‘HD’ on its watermark on its HD channel, at least in Sydney.
If it’s intentional rather than a mistake, then it’s about time, considering that ABC, Seven & Ten’s HD channels don’t have ‘HD’ displayed on their respective watermarks, at least outside of sport broadcasts.

Remembering that the dropping of the “HD” watermark addition on the other channels (except SBS, who’ll probably keep theirs on LCN-30 for a while) coincided with On-Air Presentation changes, I wonder if Nine’s decision to drop their “HD” watermark addition is a sign of further presentational changes to come?

Can confirm it disappeared in NNSW on Thursday during Today.
Will be interesting to see if the sports shows have it next to WWOS logo.
