The ABC watermark is on top left of the screen during the telecast of Australian of the Year Awards. Not sure why.

It’s an event that will most likely be used in other news bulletins.
It won’t be covered by supers or (hopefully) many bugs. Same with sport graphics.

The top left could also just be better for the show than the top right.
