I would say it was more a matter of branding their coverage as the networks had exclusive rights to overseas coverage. Notably 10 was the exclusive network for CNN in Australia with CNN the only network with a presence in Iraq and able to report the bombing campaign live from Baghdad. Nine had exclusive access to CBS and ABC while Seven had NBC coverage.

wouldn’t it be funny if there was a 10 on 10 logo.
I’m pretty sure most people will be paying more attention to that thing on the screen rather than any program content!

Yes, i do not like how it stays a purple colour rather than what 7 does and makes it transparent for a couple of minutes.
