Victoria State Election - November 2018

Of course.

Surely 10 will have a local bulletin at 5pm.

Of course. It will be streamed live on ABC Melbourne website.
EDIT: Tamara Oudyn said on this evening’s Victorian bulletin that the Leaders’ debate on Thursday will also be shown live nationwide on ABC News channel from 8.30am AEDT.

Any word on who’s hosting Nine’s coverage on Saturday?

Yes

That’s Seven

I know who really should play a major part in Nine’s Victorian Election Coverage (but probably won’t, especially if he’s only contracted to present Monday-Friday 6pm news bulletins): Hitch.

He didn’t last time - IIRC it was Alicia and Tony.

To be honest I’m not sure that he’e be that terrific. It’s a very different proposition to reading the 6pm bulletin and chucking a couple of pre-written questions to reporters.

In the same way Hendo was never involved in anything other than the 6pm news in Sydney (6.30 in earlier years)… let’s just say while he was an excellent editor his adlibbing ability didn’t lend itself to dynamic live coverage.

Very good news.
I wonder if the 6PM bulletin will be an hour?

News is at 6pm is because of the Supercasr coverage from Newcastle - Sydney has the same 6pm bulletin on both days. Sunday is 30 minutes.
