Apparently she’s joining as one of the Executive Producer too, obviously they are trying to fix an image problem the show has.
She was terrible on AGT, I doubt she’ll be much better on this but money talks.

Vulture has learned exclusively that the Eye’s adaptation of ITV Entertainment’s international hit has started preproduction at the Cromwell, a Caesars Entertainment boutique hotel on the Strip that has been shuttered since COVID-19 lockdowns began in March. The series had been set to return in May, once again filming on an overseas island, but those plans were put on pause because of the pandemic. CBS and ITV Entertainment, which declined comment for this story, are now hoping to premiere the Vegas-set Love Island by the end of the summer.
While precise details surrounding the production are scant, CBS and ITV will require everyone associated with Love Island, including the show’s cast and all crew members, to be quarantined prior to the start of production.
Fox has set September 27 as the fall premiere date for its Sunday animation block that includes Season 32 of The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Bless the Harts and Family Guy.

In terms of health and safety protocols, housemates will undergo a quarantine period prior to production and will be tested several times prior to entering the house. Once inside, they will be tested weekly during the season and have no contact with any crew members, and all supplies delivered will be disinfected. In addition, the live show will not have a studio audience.
