John Tesh and Mary Hart were back for part 2 of their chat on Entertainment Tonight today.
Caught the five minute interview about Teshâs battle with cancer on a streaming site last night but didnât get to see the entire show. Pretty shit it isnât available via 10play but Iâm not really surprised.
Yesterdayâs episode is on there now.
I have different rates of success doing searches on 10play.
- Really difficult to search for it through 10play on my Fetch box. No icons in the folders and I can only search for it by typing the name of the show.
- Wonât find anything on my mobile
- The best search was on my laptop. Link below, watch S39E123.
Great to hear Mary Hart, itâs like she never left. The show certainly lost its way in the 2000s, would be good to see it return to being less tabloidy which after watching that episode it looks like itâs not as bad as it used to be. Weird that they havenât replaced Nancy OâDell at all.
If they had some breakfast, and a world news roundup, theyâd have a full house!
Interesting that Live with Kelly & Ryan is on the NBC affiliate as its produced by WABCâŚ
The renewal is part of Dick Wolfâs mega deal with Universal Television which also sees Law & Order: SVU renewed for three more seasons.
Brooke Anderson
is the best presenter that they sometimes use. I wish she would do it full time. Apparently they have already asked her but she doesnât want to do it full time because she doesnât live in Los Angeles any more.
Nischelle is alright too but some of the others like Keltie Knight give me the irrits. Lauren Zima creeps me out. ![]()
Variety has confirmed with sources that filming of the special has been delayed. It was due to film within the next week but it has now been pushed to May at the earliest.
Would you look at that, spin offs having spin offs
Itâs been happening since the 70s (probably even earlier).
All in the Family led to Maude which led to Good Times
Not to mention Star Trek. - STNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, Animated, Picard,+ more to come.
Yep. Beverly Hillbillies led to Petticoat Junction which led to Green Acres. The origins of those shows can be traced further back to radio serials. Sam Drucker, the storekeeper, was a regular character in both Green Acres and Petticoat Junction. There were a few crossover episodes in which characters from the âHootervilleâ universe appeared across the three shows. Watched a few episodes of Petticoat not long ago to see if I found it as appealing as I did when I was a kid and discovered I still have a desire to live in Hooterville.
Excellent work! I knew there had to be some earlier ones. I remember the endless repeats of these on Channel 7 and 10 in the afternoons or weekends which went well into the 80s.
