The 9th and final season of The Middle has been extended by two to 24 episodes in total.

Hulu is developing a romantic comedy anthology series based on the 1994 movie Four Weddings and a Funeral, with Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) as executive producer.

Shameless has been renewed for a 9th season.

Apple has announced its first scripted series: it has ordered two seasons of a drama about a morning TV show starring, executive produced and co-owned by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. Former HBO executive Michael Ellenberg’s company is producing the show and also co-owns it.
Apple also confirmed that it’s making a new version of the anthology series “Amazing Stories” from Steven Spielberg (a producer of the original 1980s show) and showrunner Bryan Fuller.

Fox has announced the second season of The X-Files revival and new Ryan Murphy drama 9-1-1 will both premiere on January 3, 2018, and will air until March, while Empire and Star both take a break.

Jeffrey Tambor has revealed to Deadline he has quit Transparent after four seasons, despite denying two accusations of sexual harassment.

NBC has renewed The Good Place for a third season. Season 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix in Australia.

Fox has announced its winter 2018 schedule. Medical drama The Resident (starring Revenge’s Emily VanCamp and CSI: NY’s Melina Kanakaredes) will premiere on January 21 after the NFC Championship in the NFL, before moving to its regular Monday timeslot on January 22. Comedy LA to Vegas (starring Dylan McDermott) will join The Mick on Tuesday nights from January 2. Reality music show The Four starts on January 4.

Wisdom of the Crowd looks set to be axed, after CBS decided not to order more episodes for the drama which airs here on Ten. The show will finish its first season on 13 episodes.

Creator and stars of Suits have congratulated Meghan Markle on her engagement to Prince Harry. She is expected to leave the show at the end of season 7.

And we had this rubbish inflicted on us because Ten fast tracked it. :poop:

Problem is Ten will not be able to show all 13 episodes before its Big Bash League telecast starts on December 19.

Meghan Markle will officially leave Suits at the end of season 7, with the blessing of the show’s production companies.

They have some well known actors cast but too bad the show is rubbish.

CBS has extended Elementary’s sixth season from 13 episodes to 21.

Warner Bros has sacked Andrew Kreisberg, an executive producer of The CW’s Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow, and showrunner of the first two. Kreisberg was sacked three weeks after he was suspended by WB following allegations of sexual harassment made by 19 women and men who work or have worked on those shows.

CBS has announced premiere dates for its shows in the first quarter of 2018. The most notable is the 30th season of The Amazing Race which debuts on Wednesday, January 3. TAR and Big Brother US will occupy much of the period with several episodes airing against NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics. After TAR finishes on February 21, a new season of Survivor will take over from February 28. New comedy Living Biblically, starring The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki, debuts at the end of February, while police drama Instinct, based on the James Patterson novel Murder Games, starts in mid March. Instinct stars Alan Cumming and Australia’s Bojana Novakovic (Satisfaction, Shameless).
