7’s coverage is obviously continuing right through to 6pm AEDT. Might create problems for Sydney’s 6pm.
10 has moved to local bulletins in NSW, ACT & VIC. Studio 10’s marathon coverage continuing in other states and territories.

That Melbourne set is a mess. The presentation on that bulletin is awful.
Pat on the back to 7’s Mike Amor who has been on air now since 5.30am this morning AEDT. Going on almost 12 hours. Biggest effort I have seen from any Australian news presenter.
SBS also still going - flicking between CNN and PBS coverage.
6pm AEDT:
Nine at News in NSW/VIC, Queensland has just started the local afternoon news bulletin with Eva Milic.
Seven has gone to news, Queensland has just started the local afternoon news bulletin with Kendall Gilding.
Karl seems to have really tired voice as he incorrectly refers to Nine News as ‘National Nine News’.
Nine’s coverage has finished on the east coast, with Sydney and Melbourne going to Nine News 6pm and QLD receiving the local Afternoon News.
Ten’s rolling coverage has ceased for the evening.
They should’ve taken Karl off hours ago. He has been woeful. Deb Knight demonstrated why she should’ve been anchoring coverage when she was on earlier this afternoon.
Major technical issues for Nine News Melbourne at the top of the bulletin; a shambles at the worst time. Incorrect supers, lighting issues and stories failing to play. At one point we crossed to Laurie Oakes eating.
Seven Brisbane with afternoon news, concentrating on election.
Nine by contrast are local stories only so far
Karl always does that. BTW, Karl annoyed me so much for today’s coverage. Perhaps he shouldn’t have appeared on Today as well this morning. His slouching and endless mistakes were so annoying.
Studio 10 did really well today, certainly a standout. Well done @blackbox and team.
