Drop straight into comedic chaos as stand-up funny woman Urzila Carlson ricochets between live stand-up and bombastic sketches in her first stand-up comedy sketch show.
Dropping straight into the chaos, Episode One ricochets between live stand-up and a barrage of escalating sketches. Urzila is diagnosed with “early onset Karenism,” hijacks TV development meetings with deranged reality-show pitches, endures a women’s health check-up that spirals into surreal humiliation, demolishes a wedding cake tasting, and inserts herself into an underworld heist purely on the strength of having watched every true-crime documentary ever made.
Anchored by Urzila’s blistering point of view and featuring Sam Pang as a guest star, the episode sets the tone for a series that’s unapologetically loud, stacked with mayhem, and most importantly funny
Comedy based on Urzila Carlson’s infamous stand up routines, sees the queen of comedy explode over a courtesy wave, launch a new business called Hire-A-Lez and destroy self-help books.
She then steps into the role of a menopausal cop, checks into Karen rehab and attends a cougar funeral.
Loving the show as seen on screeners from ABC. Great original combination of Ursula doing standup used to link comedy sketches based on her routine. Very fresh format with great supporting cast as well. Hopefully the whole series can emulate the early eps.
Urzila Carlson’s hilarious sketch show escalates rapidly as Urzila’s hatred of camping threatens to tear her relationship apart. She becomes locked in a petty but explosive T-shirt slogan war with a bigot, and a dinner party unravels when a friend’s peculiar secret comes to light.
Anchored by Urzila’s razor-sharp point of view and fearless stand-up, the episode features special guest appearances from Madeleine Sami, Nick Cody, Melanie Bracewell and Ione Skye.
Good to have some sketch comedy on television again. After the first episode, some of the sketches are great but some are a bit ordinary. Enjoyed it overall.
Julia Morris was excellent as the manager of the Nursing home for Karen’s. Would love to see her back doing some acting. Perhaps 10 could find a project for her

Urzila also teaches a room of geriatric men how to delete their internet history, dispatches a specialist clean-up crew to the home of a recently deceased kinky woman, and calls out male scientists for designing bafflingly impractical products for women.
