Thirty-somethings Emily (Tonkin) and Ryan (Thwaites) have a connection during their brief daily flirtations on their bus commute to work. But all that stops one day with the sudden COVID-19 lockdown.
Cut to two years later, and the pair step back onto the bus and instantly reconnect, so Ryan proposes they go on eight dates, at the end of which they will either get married or walk away.
