Darwin, Tasmania and Spencer Gulf confirmed according to an FAQ on iTVSN. So that’s all areas covered except Griffith and Mt Gambier unless WIN strikes a last minute deal.

From the 1st July what Channels can I watch TVSN ON?

In Metro Areas you can watch TVSN on Channel 77

In Regional Areas you can watch TVSN on Channel 67

In Darwin you can watch TVSN on Channel 75

In Tasmania you can watch TVSN on Channel 65

In the Spencer Gulf SA you can watch on Channel 65

You can also view TVSN Digitally on 7+

You can continue to watch TVSN on Foxtel Channel 176.

I wonder why they’ve gone 75/65 for Darwin, Tas and Spencer Gulf. Surely they could have kept it simple and kept it as the other areas - there’s already a gap between 7mate and racing .com on 68.

Have Ten said what they plan to do after they lose TVSN?

I’m sure Australia’s looking forward to their new channel, 10 Vacuum Blank Screen

So close to having an FTA multichannel on a Foxtel channel number that made sense.

On WIN they’ll probably replace TVSN with either Extra or GOLD2.

These datacasting channels are a waste of good bandwidth which could be used for other channels.

It will be interesting to see what will replace TVSN on channel 16 in Ten areas and channels 84 & 54 in WIN areas come tomorrow.

I’m guessing nothing given nothing has been announced.

A number of things could happen.

  • Extra could return. TVSN replaced Extra on WIN back in 2016
  • GOLD 2 could return. It’s easy to make
  • gecko could replace TVSN in non-SCA markets. SCA did just this with TVSN in non-WIN markets
  • GOLD could move to 84 and nothing replaces 85
  • A new placeholder
  • Nothing

What a time to be alive.

TVSN EPG on 77 - has “Super Sale Day” as every entry from now until 8:30am Monday that has Good Morning TVSN.

EPG on 10’s LCN 16 is the same and continues for the rest of the week as if the channel was continuing.

Same with EPG on WIN’s 84 - continues all week.

My gut is saying Extra will return to WIN 9 regions

A few seconds after midnight on 10 TVSN feed broke straight into You.tv feed. Currently the name of the channel has changed to you.tv (lower case) but the EPG programs are all from TVSN.

WIN’s feed cut off at the same time to be replaced by a slide.

On Seven, the loop, broke straight into the feed that had been showing on 10.
