Nice cover of the mag. Good to see all 7 Gold Logie Nominees together on the cover.

23 page Logies Preview? If anything goes by previous years, it will be focused on fashion, some interviews, what is on the menu etc.

In recent years, the nomination check list though has been on one page only. All the nominees squashed up on one page, with tiny font. I hope that gets some spread this time around.

23 pages just for a preview?

I wouldn’t be against them printing all the nominees again as they did when they announced them a few weeks ago. It would be handy to refer to it on the night and make a good souvenir issue for those that like to keep a logies issue.

good cover shot and it actually looks like they’re all in the same room not like some of those awful photoshops they whack on the cover

And they have interviews with all the gold logie nominees inside which is good exclusive content.

Not often i say this, but I’ve got this issue, and am quite impressed with it

. They do have a two page spread of each Gold Logie Nominee - one page being the interview, and one page being “a poster” of sorts for each nominee.

The Logies “Checklist” is one page long, so you can tick off who has won on the night - but the font is a tad small, the only slight criticism of this issue. The “Nominations Issue” a few weeks ago had a better layout.

Good cover. At least they had good sense to make this week’s issue focus on the winners of the Most Outstanding categories. Hopefully next week they will also devote the cover to the awards when they jave all the pics from the night.

Off-topic but I just don’t understand the appeal/success of Colin From Accounts.

No HAA, thank goodness.

That’s a shocker. Usually they’d find a way to sneak something in the corner but there’s nothing in sight.

Him again.

Why couldn’t they have used that photo of Sonia Kruger as the main photo on the cover?

Yet again, what used to be their biggest issue of the year with photos and results of the biggest entertainment event of the year is downplayed on the cover with a bunch of smaller photos.

why wouldn’t you lead the front cover with the Gold Logie winner. You know, the person claimed by TV Week readers to be the “most popular”.

Even the years that Steve Peacocke was nominated he didn’t win the Gold.

Exactly. Surely, the Most Popular Personality would sell more magazines.

If they were in fact popular…

Well enough individuals had to vote for them to win. Even if they do campaign to win these days, they are still the person of the moment. There’s still some buzz around that person and that can sell mags.

The editors of TV Week obviously have a strong bias for one show they love and the actors who have been in that show. But they need to look past that.

TV Week are so far up Stephen Peacock’s ass they’re almost coming out of his mouth. The amount of frothing they must be expelling when writing up articles about him, and plotting ways to put him as the main cover is painfully obvious. :face_vomiting::roll_eyes: #BrokenRecord
