TV Week

There is a four-page feature on Australian Idol at the back of this new issue, with articles on Kyle and with Marcia. With proper photos of them. Surely, they could have used them (plus Amy Shark) on the cover instead of a H&A episode shot which looks crap on the cover.

Also, there are pieces on Sigrid Thornton, and Anna Torv (of The Newsreader) that mention the AACTA Awards in their stories. But strangely enough, no mention of the actual 2025 AACTA Awards that are held next Friday, which is in their TV Guides. Not even a brief article talking about some of their tv awards…

they wouldn’t want to take any attention away from their Logies :stuck_out_tongue:

They did this last year too. Quite silly. The photos of Marcia and Kyle look great and probably would have sold a lot more magazines.

Maybe of Marcia. Not so much Kyle.

Normally I’d agree but they dressed him up in a very loud pink jacket so he could have complemented Marcia on the cover.

I can’t find his individual shot online but this is a shot of the three judges.

Still looks like a wanker.

The Newsreader gets a cover, probably a week late, and surprise which cast member is featured.

Stephen Peacock on the cover again!

No surprise but at least some diversity on the cover this week.

Was having a look at some old covers if TV Week recently and noticed how much more diversity they had back in the 60s and 70s compared to now. They would feature people like Justine Saunders, Kamahl and Chelsea Brown. But now…

The only thing TV Week loves more than Home and Away is Stephen Peacock

The erection they have for this man is insane. Plenty of other opportunities to feature other stars or stories, but nope, gonna get that HAA connection onto the cover as much as possible.

I don’t care about that show but that’s a good cover. They should do more composite covers like that rather than the scene shots they often use.
