TV show ideas

Which is why we shouldn’t be bothering to create these ideas to bring it back.

I’m sorry to be a bearer of a Bad idea I would like to see Rove McManus to host a new version of his Chat Show Rove and maybe Sam Pang can be a sidekick and do a segment called Pangy at the Newsdesk and for a laugh get Pluka duck to Spin A Wheel aznd have Prizes also have live Bands

NO!

Jag Rove himself said in the last few weeks in a interview with TV Woke Week said he wants to host a Chat Show again because he still isn’t very old and he loves Chatting to people

So you’re saying if Neighbours came back it would maybe be a clone of Pacific drive, Paradise Beach, Chances,Pizza or EVEN Offspring?

You’re calling TV Week woke now?

Ok, but not Sam as his sidekick.

Name: Where are they Now?

Presenter(s): Matt Shirvington and Natalie Barr

Date and Time: Sundays 7:30 PM-8:30 PM

It needs to evolve if it was ever resuscitated. It would need to change massively to have a hope of success.

I personally think Australia need new drama ideas instead of recycling old ones. BUT whatever they do drama wise, they need to do what Seven did with Home And Away - promote the hell out of it - as was said by Stefan Dennis recently - its the reason Home And Away is continuing and Neighbours isnt (the last part my words, not Stefan’s)

The Last Resort, to me, is like a continuation of Neighbours but described as an adult-oriented drama.

It would be. But I cant see it coming to fruition due to mediocre numbers Neighbours have been getting. Admittedly, the numbers are better than 10 News+, but the difference in production costs goes against it - ie the rate of return is significantly lower for Neighbours as opposed to 10 News+

Or the Newlyweds “reboot” could star Annie Jones 30 years on from the original - and focus on her offspring (either Nicolette or Byron) getting married
