TV/Media Vehicles

Lol, no news outlet cares if people complain they’re out filming in public they’re entitled to do so. Complaints would be the least of their worries and usually filed straight to the ‘auto-reply’ email.

All it takes is looking through the responses to almost any social media post by a news organisation and you realise why they might not want to publicly wave about their identities. The cookers are out in force from both sides of the spectrum.

Sorry for trying to be a bit more politically correct when describing the cookers - but that would have been easier to describe the nutters that are out there.

I’m sorry for obviously upsetting people with my example which wasn’t the intention however I will just say, if you haven’t met someone with a lifelong vaccine injury you are lucky. Yes, they are rare but they do happen and while I’m completely pro-vax and have and always will be. I also have empathy for those who have had their lives changed from different things over the years - remember Thalidomide who the government only just apologised for recently and even asbestos was the greatest thing ever for decades until we knew. Science is amazing and constantly bringing new discoveries but can often change as new discoveries come along.

Bet they got some free food for that too!

Very fishy way of doing news if so.

Went out there to try it. We’d collected our food and leaving when I spotted the cameraman. Would have hung around to see what they were filming but we had to go somewhere to eat - there’s no tables or anything at the shop. Few people around but was all quiet when we drive back past about 40mins later. Lunch rush was over lol

Oh I meant to ask the important question… how was it - was it worth the trip?

I know Coledale is one of the more northern suburbs… hopefully it didn’t disappoint if you were coming from the southside of the 'Gong.

Is this the joint that got a decent plug in the Herald the other day?

Meh. The fish (inside the batter) was quite nice but didn’t care much for the batter itself. Glad I tried it though and I do like old style hand cut chips but I think being ‘triple cooked’ and in the beef dripping was bit heavy overall. If I go again might get the grilled fish instead, and maybe the non ‘beef dripping’ chips.

Yeah about 40 mins. Would have tried it yesterday on my way back from Sydney if they’d been open. Travel/commute a bit anyway so didn’t mind the drive just wish it had been a nicer day.

No story aired tonight either so not sure if they did actually shoot a usable story or holding it over for another day.

Driving down a street in the middle of Adelaide. Someone home for Christmas in the company car or the local station borrowing it, I wonder.
