Indication of tonight?

Also, as if MAFS doesn’t need any more proof that it’s a massive draw, its encore made the top 30 too.

MHS suffered 20% drop, in line with what second episodes of any season are bound to deal with. I think this is what we’ll end up with for the rest of its run.

MAFS is quickly eroding ratings of the shows on rival networks, including those which had been on air for several weeks.

If we take away the viewers who watched the simulcast on multichannels on Monday, I reckon last night’s audience would be around the same as Monday.

Still pulling off decent numbers for 10D.

Yesterday’s very extended outside table didn’t feature NCIS at all. Well, either most MHS viewers were on the main channel, or people got alienated by the lack of alternatives in the same timeslot across the network.

Honestly it’s likely both.

5 cities

Nine News won its 4th straight 5-city overnights. 9News did well to get a 6-figure result though Seven Perth was still well ahead.

Tipping Point seems to have picked up where it left last year.

Nine won the three east coast markets while Seven won Adelaide and Perth.

Sunrise won by a more comfortable margin on Tuesday despite its lowest number for two weeks. Today Brisbane impressed.

Crazy that MAFS is up year on year again. It usually gains even more momentum after the weddings.

The new reality competition seems to have had some impact on I’m a celeb’s numbers too.

Will Married at First Sight ever disappear? I know it’s popular. And rating through the roof. And kudos for Nine to milking it. But i just simply don’t get the hype.

Last night’s MAFS rating was higher than all the first week of last season.

Even without it, its promo has been seen over and over and over during the AO. I think I could count at least one or two most hours.

And remember that Friday? It changed all the calculations to the upside. More viewers will be like “well, this could be good, so I’d check it out”.

We’re seeing the benefits now.

What Friday? And I think everyone knows what Married at First Sight is by now. And not tuning into the show for the first time.

The second Friday with back-to-back 5-set semifinals.

Any episode could be the first time someone get exposed to any program. Don’t forget about that.
