Nine had an easy win on Tuesday thanks in part to The Block that was again the number one entertainment show with the third episode of the season again over 1.1 million.
Seven started the night well with Home and Away on 914k then at 7.30 a 1% Club repeat with 760k while MasterChef on 10, was down 60k to 629k. ABC’s Foreign Correspondent improved 35k to 573k with Great Continental Railway Journeys averaging 209k on SBS.
Later, The Cheap Seats was a timeslot winner with its third consecutive +500k episode. That was ahead of Dr Ann’s Secret Lives that looked at Orangutans this week, improving 50k to 405k.
The World Aquatics Championships were on Nine’s main channel from 8.40pm and improved to 343k. Seven’s night took a dive as the season final of Stranded On Honeymoon Island had 247k for a fifth place at 8.30pm lower than SBS’s Insight that was up 40k to 257k. Later episode two of Honeymoon managed 144k.
Later, A repeat of Dr Karl’s How Things Work managed almost 300k while FBI: Most Wanted had 167k.
The 6pm news battle was won by Nine by 50k with A Current Affair winning at 7pm by +200k over ABC News.
The game show contest at 5pm saw Tipping Point well ahead on 849k while The Chase dropped 50k from last Tuesday to 688k.
Meanwhile Deal or No Deal at 7pm was up 40k to 322k. 10 News+ was on 162k up slightly from the previous Tuesday and slightly higher than Monday’s result.
The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in all five metro capitals with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.898 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.120 million - up 15.3% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 181,000 - up a massive 30.2% year-on-year.
9News was the No. 1 program across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. Across the 5 City Metro, its Total TV Audience was 1.060 million - the highest rating Tuesday bulletin across the 5 City Metro for 2025 and more than 200,000 viewers ahead of its competitor. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.283 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.456 million. On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 147,000.
A Current Affair was a timeslot winner across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with Total People. It had a National Total TV Reach of 1.805 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.174 million. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 120,000.
Tipping Point Australia was the No.1 afternoon game show across Australia and in all five metro city capitals with Total People. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.509 million and a Total TV National Audience of 849,000. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD Audience of 85,000.
Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 779,000, a Total TV National Audience of 315,000. On 9Now its BVOD audience was 45,000.
The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.
9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday with all key demos and Total People.
